Routine Ceramic Tile Care
Wipe glazed wall tiles periodically using a cloth or sponge dampened with a
non oil-based household cleaner.
Vacuum glazed floor tiles regularly to remove dirt and other gritty particles,
then damp mop or sponge with an
all-purpose, non oil-based cleaner.
Remember, do not use ammonia or vinegar,
they will discolor grout.
Clean unglazed wall and floor tiles in a similar manner using a solution of water and
soapless detergent instead of an all-purpose cleaner.

Do's and Don'ts
* Do not use cleansers containing acid or bleach
for routine maintenance.
* Do not use wax cleaners, oil-based detergents
or sealants to maintain your tile
(sealants may be used on grout joints and natural stone).
* Do not use ammonia or vinegar
(they will discolor grout).
* Do not use harsh cleaning aids like steel wool pads
or scouring pads containing metal.
* Do not use a cleaning agent that contains color
on unglazed ceramic tile or natural stone.
* Do test scouring powders on a small area first
(not recommended for natural stone).
* Do use a sealer on grout joints.
* Do have any damaged or broken tiles removed and
replaced only by a qualified contractor.

Grout
Maintenance:
Neither sealing the grout nor using a 100% Epoxy Grout will guarantee
against surface build-up or discoloration of the grout. Grout needs to
be cleaned on a periodic basis to remove any surface build-up. Routine
grout cleaning can be done with a daily concentrated household or
commercial cleaner depending on the application. When heavy duty grout
cleaning is required, give us a call. We use commercial products that
are capable of removing grease, soap scum, body oil, mildew stains,
algae, and synthetic or acrylic waxes from the grout joints.
Sometimes even these products will not penetrate and remove the stains.
Grout Restoration is another option to give your tile and grout a
makeover. |

Grout
Color Restoration:
When grout has been stained to the point that it cannot be maintained or
returned to its natural color, give us a call. We can return the
grout back to its original color or any other color through a grout
coloring process.
Prior to coloring, we thoroughly clean the grout joint to remove any
dirt, oils, grease or sealers.
Grout Colors are epoxy-based products that are specifically designed to
penetrate into the grout and seal the surface with a permanent color.
